English National Ballet with Lest We Forget at Sadler’s Wells Theatre

Fair to say this is one I screwed up. In fairness the light level was very low, dark pieces in every way, and more importantly largely low contrast. The design mostly worked for an audience, although I suspect some would struggle, but was often disastrous for camera. Camera focusing systems have problems with low contrast, even using the remarkable Nikkor 70-200 f2.8. But for some reason this lens insisted on focusing just behind the key subject. I probably needs resetting.
